Wrong question, and I say that with love, because I asked it too. I didn't pick. They don't do the same job. Here's the clipping I wish someone had mailed me:

Clipping № 1 — the always-on oneLinkedIn: 1B+ users, 200+ countries. A finished profile gets found by recruiters around the clock, posting optional. Job board, messaging, publishing, learning, all free. Premium (~$29.99+/mo) is really for recruiters and salespeople. Upkeep: ~20 minutes a month.

I set my profile up in one evening, then left it alone, and it kept working. The feed is loud these days, half of it reads machine-written, and it only rewards people who post constantly. I didn't, and I still got found. Twice.

Clipping № 2 — corporate huntsIndeed + Glassdoor: ~350M monthly visitors, 3M+ employers, 60+ countries, free for seekers. Glassdoor adds employer reviews, self-reported salaries, interview stories, crowd-written, so read stacks of them, never one. Watch for sponsored listings dressed as regular results. Zero networking features, on purpose. Typical burst: 2–8 weeks, then it goes quiet till your next hunt.
Clipping № 3 — startup huntsWellfound: salary AND equity printed on every listing, ~150,000 startups, ~8M users, free for candidates. Message founders directly on many roles. Startup-only, no corporate jobs, and lots of early-stage companies with early-stage odds, which it tells you up front, bless it.

And Sam, the part nobody clips out of the paper: the thing that actually got me my job wasn't a listing at all. It was a woman named Dee I met at a Meetup thing eight months earlier. One evening a month, that's all I did. Lunchclub even seats you with exactly one matched stranger if a whole room sounds exhausting. 52M+ members, 2M+ events a year, free to attend, no job board anywhere on it, and everything good arrives sideways, later. It can't be done retroactively; I tried the math. (Organizers pay ~$20ish monthly; attendees don't.)
